IOLTA Account

IOLTA (Interest on Lawyers Trust Account) accounts are special accounts created under the Lawyers Trust Fund Program. All interest earned in these accounts is pooled to support civil legal services and justice programs for those who would normally be unable to afford them. Note: These accounts may also be called IOLA (Interest on Lawyers Accounts) depending on the state in which they are established.

IORTA Account

IORTA (Interest of Realtors Trust Account), are special accounts created under the State Association of Realtors. All interest earned on IORTA escrows is pooled to support grants that provide housing opportunities for individuals and families who would normally be unable to afford them.
