Making a positive impact on the communities where we all live and work – and inspiring others to join our efforts – is essential to our Service philosophy. Although no single organization has the necessary resources to provide for all the needs of a community, we strongly believe that by creating a socially responsible framework for our activities, and by working in concert with our neighborhoods and nonprofit partners, our collective ability to make a difference is truly unlimited.
Our dedicated Team Members identify opportunities to strengthen the communities where we do business through grants, sponsorships, and community development and service programs. Over the years, millions of dollars in financial and in-kind assistance – and thousands of Team Member hours – have been provided to non-profit organizations in the areas of economic empowerment, youth development and community support.
We recognize the value of financial support, but also understand the critical importance of our community outreach efforts. Programs like TD Bank's Team Member Voluteer Program unite TD Bank Team Member volunteers with nonprofits in need, while our Summer Reading Program and WOW!Zone financial literacy program actively involve us in support of our communities’ educational initiatives for youth.
