In which categories will I earn triple First Class miles?

You will earn 3 First Class miles for every $1 spent on dining and travel purchases. Travel purchases include airline tickets, hotel stays, car rentals, cruises, toll and bridge fees, and travel agencies. Merchants who accept Visa credit cards have a merchant code based in part on the kinds of products and services they sell. Whether or not a purchase is eligible is based upon the merchant code. Some purchases that appear to qualify may not qualify if the merchant processes the transaction with an ineligible merchant code. For example, online and catalog purchases may not be eligible to receive the promotional offer unless the merchants process the transaction using an Eligible Retail Purchase code. Are there other ways to earn First Class miles?

In addition to earning 3 First Class miles for every $1 spent on dining and travel purchases, you will also earn 1 mile for every $1 spent on all other purchases.

How many miles do I need to redeem?

There is no minimum amount of miles needed to redeem.

What are my redemption options?

Miles may be redeemed as statement credits or for gift cards or merchandise. Cash back is not available. Your account must be open and in good standing in order to earn and/or redeem miles. If your account is closed for any reason, your membership in the program will be terminated and the total balance of your accumulated miles will be forfeited. You will also forfeit any unredeemed miles if you cancel your program membership or the program is terminated. First Class miles have no cash value except when redeemed in connection with the First Class Miles program.

How do I redeem miles toward a travel/dining purchase?

First, use your TD First Class Visa Signature credit card to make your travel arrangements (for example, purchase an airline ticket, book a hotel room, make a car rental reservation) or to charge a meal at a restaurant. Next, call the TD Rewards Center at 1-877-468-3178 within 180 days of the charge. We will verify the travel/dining purchase charge and then submit the credit. The credit will be reflected on your next monthly billing statement following your call to the TD Rewards Center.

How much is each First Class mile worth toward a credit?

To determine how many miles you need for a travel or dining purchase, just add two zeros to the expense amount. For example, a $150 restaurant charge requires 15,000 First Class miles to cover the expense in full.

How do I redeem my miles for merchandise or gift cards?

Visit the TD First Class Rewards page to review the available options. Once you are ready to redeem, simply call the TD Rewards Center at 1-877-468-3178 and they will process your request.

How do I redeem my miles for a statement credit?

If you've accumulated 25,000 First Class miles or more, you may redeem them at full value for a statement credit. (For example: 25,000 miles is the equivalent of a $250 statement credit). If you have less than 25,000 miles and have not made a recent travel or dining purchase, you may redeem your miles for a statement credit worth 50% of the value. In this scenario, 20,000 miles would be the equivalent of a $100 statement credit. Please see the Terms and Conditions for more information.

How do I redeem First Class miles under the program?

First Class miles are only redeemable upon request. To request redemption, you must call 1-877-468-3178. First Class miles will be applied to your TD First Class account in the form of a statement credit. Or, you may redeem for merchandise or gift cards selected from the available options found at www.tdbank.com/firstclassrewards.

Is there a promotional offer available for new First Class accounts?

New First Class accounts are eligible to earn a one-time bonus offer of 15,000 First Class miles after a first purchase made within the first 6 billing statements of account opening. You will earn an additional 10,000 bonus First Class miles if you spend $3,000 in total net purchases using your new TD First Class Credit Card within the first 6 billing statements of your credit card account opening date. Bonus miles will be reflected on your credit card statement 6 to 8 weeks after a qualified first purchase and/or 6 to 8 weeks after $3,000 in total net purchases made within the first 6 billing statements of your credit card account opening date. Is there a website or telephone number I need to access in order to make travel arrangements?

You choose how to make your arrangements and when. Once you've made those arrangements using your TD First Class Visa Signature credit card, contact the TD Rewards Center at 1-877-468-3178 to redeem miles to cover all or part of your trip.

How will I know how many First Class miles I've earned?

Your TD First Class Visa Signature credit card billing statement will provide a recap of miles earned and miles redeemed.

How much is the annual membership fee?

The TD First Class Visa Signature credit card includes an $89 annual membership fee, waived for the first year. After that, the fee will be billed each year, whether or not you use your credit card.

When will you bill the annual membership fee?

The $89 annual membership fee is waived for the first year. After that, you will be charged each year. We will provide 30 days advanced notification in the form of a letter prior to the billing statement where the annual membership fee will appear*.

What if I do not wish to pay the annual membership fee?

You may close your account if you do not wish to pay the fee. To close your account and avoid paying the fee, call 1-877-468-3178 within 30 days of the date the pre-notification is sent in order to inform us that you wish to close your account.

How can I access the TD First Class Visa Signature concierge service?

If you have a Visa Signature credit card, you may access the concierge service at visa.com/signature1 or by calling 1-888-647-9066.

What types of services are provided with the complimentary concierge service?

Travel information and assistance; flight reservations and ticketing; hotel and car rental arrangements; pre-trip information, such as sightseeing opportunities, exchange rates, ATM locations, passport requirements and proper protocols; entertainment planning for travelers; restaurant recommendations and reservations; golf course information and reservations; assistance in obtaining tickets to theater, concerts, museums, and sporting events; and more. Is there a fee for using the TD First Class Visa Signature concierge service?

No. TD First Class Visa Signature concierge is a complimentary benefit. Any goods or services purchased on your behalf will be conveniently billed to your TD First Class Visa Signature credit card, with your prior consent. You are responsible for purchases made by the concierge at your request.

What do I do if I have an auto accident?

Call Visa Customer Care Services at 1-800-397-9010 no later than 45 days from the date the accident occurred. The representative will answer any questions you or the car rental agent may have and transfer you to the Program Administrator to file a claim1.

Is there a deductible for auto coverage?

No. However, coverage in the United States is provided on a secondary basis, meaning your own personal auto insurance will serve as the primary auto coverage, and your TD credit card will provide backup auto insurance under the Visa benefits and features1. This means it will pay in excess of your personal/business insurance, in most cases.

What should I do if the car rental agency states that they will take care of the paperwork to file my auto claim?

Contact Visa Customer Care Services at 1-800-397-9010 to file a claim1 anyway. In many instances, the rental agency will not take care of the paperwork, and it is the cardholder's responsibility to report and file a claim.

Is auto coverage valid overseas?

Yes. This coverage is available in the U.S. and in most foreign countries1 on a 24-hour basis unless precluded by law or in violation of the territory terms of the rental agreement, or prohibited by individual merchants.

What do I do if I have lost luggage?

Contact Visa Customer Care Services at 1-800-397-9010 no later than 20 days from the date of loss. The representative will answer any questions you may have and send you a special claim form.

How do I file a Purchase Security claim for eligible purchases?

Call Visa Customer Care Services at 1-800-397-9010 within 60 days of theft or damage. The Visa representative will ask you for some preliminary claim information, direct you to an approved repair facility, and send you the appropriate claim form. Or you can file your claim online at visa.com/eclaims1.

How does the Roadside Dispatch service work?

Call and tell the Roadside Dispatch operator what you need, where you are, and what number you're calling from. The operator will let you know the name of the local tow operator or locksmith being sent to assist you, an estimated time of arrival and an estimate of charges. In most cases, help should arrive within 30 minutes.

Does this service include rental cars?

Yes. Any type of non-commercial motor vehicle with wheels is included.

Can my car be towed anywhere I want?

The disabled vehicle will be towed for a flat fee to an authorized service/repair facility, automotive dealer or the service facility specified by you. Additional costs apply for towing distances of more than 5 miles.

Is there a charge to my card to use the Roadside Dispatch service?

Yes, the flat fee of $59.95 is automatically charged to your TD First Class Visa Signature card – this includes a tow service of up to 5 miles or lockout service. You are responsible for the cost of any actual service or goods provided. Such cost can be paid at your discretion, using your TD First Class Visa Signature card. Additional costs apply for towing distances of more than 5 miles.

Please be aware Visa Travel and Emergency Assistance provides assistance and referral only; you are responsible for the cost of any actual medical, legal, transportation or other services or goods provided.

Do I need to enroll in Visa Signature Access/Sports & Entertainment to take advantage of an offer?

No enrollment is necessary. Visa Signature Access/Sports & Entertainment is a benefit provided to all TD First Class Visa Signature cardholders.
