Wire Transfers
Wiring money internationally is easy at TD Bank. Our worldwide network of correspondent banks provides you with the capability to send and receive wire payments anywhere in the world securely and efficiently.
Wire transfers are available in many foreign currencies. All you need to send an international wire is:
- The full name, address, including city, state/province, country and account number of the person/business (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number) you are sending money to
- The full name and address, including city, state/province and country of the financial institution receiving the funds
- The amount and currency of the transfer
Transfers happen quickly and securely. Depending on the currency you are sending, some transactions may take longer than others.
Foreign Currency
Before you leave on your next overseas trip, be sure to visit your local TD Bank store and order the foreign currency you'll need for transportation and purchases. You can pick up your order within two business days. You'll receive a competitive rate with the convenience of visiting your local store.
Foreign Purchases
While traveling abroad you can pay for purchases using a variety of methods, including your credit card and TD Bank Visa® Debit Card, as well as local currency and travelers checks that you can order from TD Bank before you leave.
Foreign Checks
TD Bank can help you cash or deposit a check drawn on a foreign bank, even if it is in a foreign currency. Simply visit your local TD Bank store or call our Corporate Foreign Exchange team at 888-264-4685.
