Remember, even with an overdraft protection, if you don't have enough money in your account, you may incur overdraft fees for overdrafts paid, overdrafts returned, and sustained overdraft, as well as any return check fee(s) required by the check payee. If you have any questions or concerns about which service is right for you, talk with a representative at your local TD Bank.

Important Details About TD Debit Card Advance

By enrolling in TD Debit Card Advance you authorize us to permit ATM transactions or one-time debit card purchases of any size to overdraw your account. A $35 fee applies to each transaction that overdraws your account if at the end of the business day your account is overdrawn by more than $5, whether created by debit card, check, in-person withdrawal, or other electronic means. You are obligated to pay overdrafts immediately. A one-time $20 sustained overdraft fee is charged when your account balance remains negative for 10 consecutive business days. Whether an overdraft will be paid is at our discretion, and we reserve the right not to pay. For example, we typically do not pay overdrafts if your account is not in good standing, or you are not making regular deposits, or you have too many overdrafts. TD Debit Card Advance is different from other forms of overdraft coverage in that it does not transfer funds from an approved line of credit, savings account, or home equity line of credit. Transactions will not be processed in the order in which they occurred. The order in which they are processed may affect the total amount of overdraft fees incurred.
