Thanks for your interest in banking with TD, Jakob. We'd be glad to help!
In order to open an account or apply for a credit card with TD as a non-US resident, you will need to visit a TD Store. To take a look at TD Stores you'd like to plan a trip to, please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Next, we invite you to take a look at our TD Credit Cards here: http://bit.ly/1qRnByN. By following the link, you are able to take a look at features, benefits and any applicable fees.
As you mentioned making withdrawals, we also recommend taking a look at the checking accounts we have to offer here: http://bit.ly/1MtrOaz. You are also able to take a look at our Checking Selector Tool found here: http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for a custom recommendation. By following the links, you are also able to view features, benefits and any fees that may be applied to these types of accounts.
Once you are ready to visit a Store, as a Non-US resident you will need to bring two forms of identification with you. One form of ID must be a Non-US passport and the second form of ID you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
It is very important to contact the Store you plan to visit to open the account to confirm if any other information or documentation will be required at the time of the account opening.
We hope this helps, Jakob and have a good day.
