Thanks for joining us here at TD helps, David. We'd be happy to help provide some information.
Please accept our sincere condolences for your loss. We know it must be a tough time so we want to make the process of setting up an Estate Account as easy as possible.
In order to open an Estate account, the executors must have an active US address and visit a TD Store to do so. They will also need to provide valid photo identification, Copy of the death certificate, and further documents may be required; however, it does vary depending on the state in which the decedent passed away.
Since you mention that your family member has passed in the state of Pennsylvania, the Executors must visit a Store in this state in order to setup an Estate account due to state regulations. For information, please contact the local Store in that State for more information. For hours, locations, and Store contact number, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you need additional information on this inquiry, please call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
We hope this information helps and enjoy the rest of your week
