Thank you for reaching out to us, Francis. We are sorry to hear about your son's debit card and you came to the right place for direction regarding your inquiry! We would be happy to help provide the next step he should take.
If he lost his TD ATM/Visa Debit card, we recommend requesting to close the card immediately. He can do so by calling us at 1-888-751-9000. Our Customer Service Representatives are available to him 24/7 and are happy to help. Once his card has been closed we can order him a new card and mail it to him at the address on file. Please note, it may take up to 7-10 business days depending on the post office.
If he has TD Bank Online Banking he can send us a secure message to request a new debit card. If he has not enrolled, he can do so for free by following this link: http://go.td.com/1lU2qfY. He will need his account number, his email address and his current TD ATM/Debit card. Since he doesn't have the card it may be easier to give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 to speak with our knowledgeable Banking Specialists. Once he has successfully enrolled, to send secure messages please select the "Customer Service" tab and under "Message Center" please click on the "Send a Message" link. For this particular request, please select the "General Customer Service" for the subject line. In the "Comments/Requests" field, please type in his request. We ask that he include her address on file when submitting his secure message
Another option he have to close his TD ATM/Visa Debit card is to visit us at his local TD Store. While he is there to close his card, he could also request a new card and he would be able to receive it immediately at the Store. For hours and locations near him, please take a look here: http://go.td.com/TDStores.
We are always here to help, Francis. Please let us know if you have any additional concerns or questions.
