I am re-asking about my situation because I have no access to my TD card(easyweb and the iPhone application). The TD counselor, who sent the mail to me yesterday, he said that send a Secure Message but I cannot do that now. I closed my card access yesterday.
Someone used my bank information and an unauthorized transaction was appeared. So yesterday I just closed my card. Does the TD Bank refund the unknown charge for customers? or am I responsible to this situation? (Almost $85)
Moreover, I pay monthly payment to the Rogers. On the Rogers website, I have already paid July's payment successfully. However, when I checked my TD Bank account, it did not show the withdraw from Rogers. So I made a call to the Rogers, they said my payment was successfully paid. On my account, an improper charge was there instead the Rogers bill.
Anyway, I cannot solve this situation. I am in Korea now and I will go back to Toronto in September. The teller recommended to make a new TD card but I want to make it when I arrive to Toronto. Is it possible? or any problem can be occurred if I prolong this situation until September? I want to cancel my bank account, not only the card access.
