I recently opened a TD Bank account but I reside in an area where there are no TD Bank branches nearby. (It's a complicated story, but opening the TD account was necessary.) How can I activate my debit card and account from afar? Do online transactions or online banking on the TD website count towards activation? Thanks for your help!

You may activate your new TD debit card by calling 1-888-553-4122 at any time, day and night. If you need help with activating your new debit card, our friendly Banking Specialists can also be reached 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Additionally, once your account is set up and funded, you should be able to make transactions with your new account at any time. If you wish to confirm your account status, feel free to speak with one of our Banking Specialists at the telephone number listed above.
