Hi, a client of mine (an institute) needs to make a transfer to me withing the US in USD. They asked for my ACH number, not a routing number for wire transfer. What is the difference, and where can I find my ACH number?

Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Boaz. We'd be happy to help you receive a transfer.
Based on your question, it sounds as though you meant to reach TD Canada Trust. Don't worry though! We found a great conversation on the Canadian TD Helps page that you may find useful. Take a look here: http://bit.ly/1wqGJsm. If you do not find the replies helpful, feel free to submit your own question by following the link.
If you prefer to speak to a TD Canada Trust Representative directly, feel free to take a look at their "Contact Us" page found here: http://bit.ly/1woOVay.
We hope this helps, Boaz and have a good day.

Thanks for the quick answer. I do live in Canada but I have a US account with TD Bank. The transaction I am asking about is going into this account, not a a Canada Trust account.

Welcome back, Boaz. We'd be happy to help.
If you are receiving funds via ACH transfer, you would provide the routing number assigned to your account during account opening. Routing numbers are determined by that State in which you've opened your account. To view a listing of routing numbers for TD Bank, take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cmRPoF.
As it sounds as though you're receiving a domestic wire, please provide the sender with the instructions below:
Wire to: TD Bank, N.A. Wilmington, Delaware
Your complete name as it appears on your account, along with your account number
If you have any further questions in regards to wire instructions, we encourage you to reach out to us directly 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000. Our Representatives will be glad to assist!
We hope this clears things up, Boaz and have a good day.
