How long does it take for an ACH payment to clear after it is received by the beneficiary's TD bank account? Is there a maturity period?

Thanks for reaching out on TD Helps, Mike.
Regardless of the source, ACH deposits are made available for use on the same business day they are scheduled for deposit. To ensure the fastest delivery of your funds, make sure the type of account the deposit is going into along with your account and routing numbers are correct with the depositing party. The name your lender is depositing the funds under needs to match your account as well. Typically, after a business, employer or lender sends the funds it takes two to three business days to show up in your account. For more information about deposits and when they are made available, we invite you to take a look at the Personal Account Agreement here: https://go.td.com/1kb17UQ (pages 38-41).
