I just activated my chip card that came in the mail. Do I have to do anything to transfer the funds from my old card to my new card or is that money automatically accessible to me on my new chip card?

Thanks for contacting TD Helps today, Jane. Great to hear you received your Chip enabled Debit Card. We'll be sure to clear up any confusion.
You'll be happy to hear that you have received and activated your new Debit Card, your old Debit Card immediately becomes inactive, giving you immediate access to all of the funds that are available in your Checking account. As your new Debit Card already has your current account attached to it, there is no need to transfer the funds.
If you have any additional questions, you may call 1-888-751-9000 and speak with a Live Customer Service Representative, who are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will be more than happy to address any concerns you may have.
We sincerely hope this helped answer any of your questions, Jane, and we hope you enjoy the rest of your day.
