Earlier today, I opened a checking account online, and received confirmation of the opening, but about an hour after that, I received an email informing me that the initial deposit failed to clear. I intend on making that initial deposit at my local store in the near future, but my question is, will the debit card I requested when opening the account still be mailed to me even with the initial deposit having failed? Or must I make that deposit before being issued one?

Welcome to the TD Helps community, Vincent and thanks for choosing TD Bank for your financial needs!
When opening an account online, it will have to be funded in order to have the debit card mailed to you. Have no worries though, when you visit your local TD Bank to make your initial deposit, they will be able to print out an instant issue debit card which you will be able to use immediately!
