We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble changing your password, Thomas. We'd be glad to help.
You are able to change your password prior to logging in to Online Banking or the Mobile App by selecting the "Forgot your password?" link. By selecting this link, you will be asked to enter your user name, last four digits of your Social Security Number and answer a security question.
You are also able to change your password while logged in to Online Banking. To sign in please visit www.tdbank.com. You will then visit the "Customer Service" then select the "Change Password" link.
We have some guidelines to keep in mind while creating your password below:
-Use a combination of numbers, letters and special characters, but no spaces
-Your password should be unique. Memorize it and do not disclose it to anyone else
-Avoid using names, dates or numbers tied to your identity (such as birthday, family name, pets, street, etc.)
-Use a password that differs from your other banking, email and social media accounts. Change it periodically, ideally every 90 days
If you continue to have trouble changing your password, we ask that you reach out to us directly for assistance. You are able to call our Banking Specialists 24/7 by dialing 888-751-9000 (800-493-7562 option 2 for BusinessDirect). After account verification, our Representatives will be glad to help you change your password.
Similarly, you are able to visit us during lobby hours at any TD Store for help. To take a look at TD Stores near you please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps, Thomas and enjoy your afternoon.
