How do I enable third party application access?

We're happy to let you know that TD Bank does not block third party application access. If you're attempting to allow a company access to your online banking, you may be asked to answer your security questions. Please know that those responses are case sensitive to how they were originally set up. If you answer those questions incorrectly, you may not be able to login through that other company. This is one of the most common problems that occur when allowing third party access.
If this is what has prevented you from enrolling with the third party app, your security questions can be updated. You may do this yourself by logging into your online banking here: https://go.td.com/1eaISlq and selecting the 'Customer Service' tab. You'll then see a blue hyper link to change your security questions. We would also be happy to reset them for you. Just give our Tech Support Team a call 24/7 at 800-493-7562.
Once you're comfortable with the security questions, we recommend attempting to enroll again with the application you're allowing to have access to your accounts.

I am having a similar issue with regards to TD bank giving permissions to 3rd party apps. I have done what you have suggested above several times, so I do not think it is a problem with my security questions.
To give you a more specific example of the issue I'm having, I've downloaded Venmo and Acorns on my phone. When it gets to linking my bank account, it will go to the security question page, and then continue to ask me the same question over and over and over in an endless cycle. It never locks me out or tells me the answer is wrong, it just keeps reloading the same question and will never link my account.
Have you heard of this being an issue? I believe it is a glitch with TD only because I can link other accounts through these 3rd party apps with no problem.
Any help you have for my situation would be greatly appreciated!

We're sorry to hear that you're having trouble with linking your 3rd party apps.
We want to assure you that TD Bank Online Banking does allow for 3rd party access, as long as the information is entered correctly. We'd like to take a look at your online banking to ensure that your security questions haven't been locked due to too many attempts. If that's the case, we can reset the attempts and even reset the questions for you, if necessary. We would then suggest attempting to link the apps again. Please give us a call 24/7 at 800-493-7562 and we would be happy to help. We should be able to even stay on the line with you while you attempt to link the app.
If your questions have not been locked and you continue to have a problem linking the app, we would recommend reaching out to Technical Support for that application.
