When you're outside of the United States, you can make ATM withdrawals with your TD Bank Visa Debit Card from any machine that displays the VISA or NYCE logo. We encourage you to check out our current Fee Schedule, http://bit.ly/1cTejgt, as it outlines any fees which may apply when you use your Debit Card out of the country. If you are unable to find an ATM that is compatible, your TD Bank Visa Debit Card may also be used to obtain a VISA Cash Advance. We recommend checking this possibility with a local bank. We also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues.

To make sure you do not experience any acceptance issues, we recommend placing a travel notification on your account. A travel notification helps us recognize unauthorized transactions on your account. Please be informed that for your protection we will continue to monitor your card activity even when a notification is set. If you have not already done so or, if we can be of any help to you during your trip, please take note of these convenient methods to contact us. You can send a message after logging in to your online account athttp://bit.ly/1eaISlq, by clicking on the Customer Service tab and finding the link to Send a Message.
If you're not yet using Online Banking for your account, please start here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You will need your account number, Social Security number, a TD Bank ATM/Visa Debit Card, and your email ad If you find that you need to make a withdrawal or purchase which is higher than the standard limit set on your Debit card, we can offer a couple of options on how to request an increase. Please note, in order to have your Debit card limit increased you must have a deposit account older than 90 days that is in Normal status. You also must have a sufficient balance to cover the requested amount.
An easy way to request an increase is to send a Secure Message through Online Banking. If you're already enrolled for Online Banking, you may send us a secure message to request this information by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. After you log in, find the Customer Service tab and use the Send a Message link found there. Please be sure to include the Debit card number and the portion of your card (ATM, POS, or VISA) that you'd like the increase for, as well as the amount you're requesting so we can best help you.
Another option is to send a fax to our Fulfillment Team at 1-856-533-1138 with the following information:
Subject: Limit Increase
Debit/ATM Card Number
Contact Telephone Number
Amount of "total daily limit" requested
Indicate - Visa, POS, ATM
Signature - if Customer is faxing request
Please allow approximately 2-3 hours for your request to be completed.
Please keep in mind that limit increases are only valid for one calendar day and the limits will return to the original amount after this time passes. If your request is received after 6:00 pm, the increase will remain in effect for one additional calendar day.dress. Once you’ve entered this info, you'll be immediately enrolled in Online.
Additionally, you may contact our 24/7 Customer Service line at 888-751-9000 to have a Customer Service Representative place a travel notification on your accounts.
If you are currently traveling outside the United States, please contact us by phone at 1-856-751-9000, or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518. We are available 24/7 for your convenience.
