I tried purchasing from joann fabric store online last night and for some reason it was not going through and said there was something wrong with my card but when I checked my pending transactions, the multiple times I tried purchasing were showing up. Have I been charged those 3 or 4 times?? I am currently stationed in Germany so it is a little harder to contact joanns also.

Thanks for writing in and sorry to hear you've encountered some difficulties, Christiana. We'll be glad to point you in the right direction.
From your message, it sounds as though the transactions with Joann Fabric may be duplicate holds on your account. Duplicate holds like this are not uncommon when using your debit card. It is most often due to the machine being unable to read your card, or an error is transmitted when your card is swiped. Therefore the card is swiped a second or third time and multiple authorizations are transmitted to us. In many cases, the transactions expire and are not collected by the merchant.
As you mentioned that these transactions weren't processed but have appeared on your account, to be sure these are duplicates we would need to review this in further detail with you. Please note that we would like to assist you directly; however, we do not have access to your personal information since this is considered an unsecured forum.
As you're outside the US right now, an easy way to communicate with us is to send us a Secure Message for assistance. To do so, please log in to your Online Banking account at http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. Once you have done so, locate the Customer Service tab at the top right, and then click on Send a Message. Please submit your inquiry and a Representative will respond shortly.
If you have not yet enrolled for Online Banking and have a US Social Security number, you may follow this link to enroll for our online service http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. To do so, you'll also need your ATM/Debit Card number and your account number, and once you complete three short steps, you'll have immediate access. You can then send the message as instructed earlier.
If you're able, we also invite you to give one of our friendly Banking Specialists a call. For your convenience, we are available 24/7 from outside the United States via phone at 1-856-751-9000, or collect with operator assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518. The US country code is 1-011.
Let us know about any questions, Christiana. Best of luck and Happy New Year!
