When visiting a Store, and if your business account is going to have multiple signers, be sure to bring them with you for the account opening process. All signers of the account will need the following documents: a valid photo I. D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and their Social Security number. If any of the signers are non-Citizens of the U.S., they would need two valid forms of I.D. and need to complete a W-8Ben form while at the Store. Please bring the Tax Identification Number for the business to the Store as well.
If you are looking to open an LLC, there are some additional documents you will need to bring with you. One of the listed documents that are required for an account opening but you can bring more than one if you desire: The documents used to form and register your business, the fictitious name registration or the Operating Agreement. Additionally, you will also need to bring documentation of your LLC Resolution.
In some cases, and depending on your type of business, additional or different documentation may be required; because of this, we recommend reaching out to the Store you intend to visit ahead of time to confirm what documentation may be necessary. Also, potential signers may inquire about what forms of ID would be acceptable for any are non-Citizens or non-Residents.
