I am a Canadian citizen who has been accepted to dental school in Asia. I was not able to get my parents to successfully cosign for my student loan due to their income level. However, I have family members in the United States who are American citizens and have a good credit history and income who are willing to cosign for me. I cannot find a bank in Canada that will accept an American cosigner. Are there any banks in the U.S. that will accept a Canadian for a student loan with an American cosigner? Are there any solutions to my problem that you can assist me in or can guide me to? Thank you so much in advance!

Thank you for joining us on TD Helps, Sepher. We'd be happy to point you in the right direction.
Though TD does not offer student loans, we do offer other loans that may suit your needs. When you're ready, your first option is to apply online. Please visit at http://bit.ly/1wcQfxl where you may submit an application with your cosigner. Secondly, you may speak with a Financial Solutions Group (FSG) Specialist 24/7 at 800-937-5020. They will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have along with helping you with your Loan application.
We hope to hear from you soon, Sepher and have a good day.
