I am trying to get a new apartment. I will need two bank checks for the first month's rent and the security deposit. The lease has not yet come through, but I am trying to be proactive. If I get the checks and this apartment falls through, can I redeposit the checks and get the money back in my account?

We're happy to inform you that if you purchased a certified or official check from TD and it was not used as intended or no longer needed, you may deposit it into your TD Checking, Savings or Money Market account. To find a nearby TD Store to bring the check into please view our locator here: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If you have any additional questions please let us know here on TD Helps or by giving us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000.
We hope this answers your question, Randy! Take care.
