I made a transfer through TD Cross Border Banking (TD Bank to TD Canada Trust) and was told that funds will not be available until Tuesday. I can see Friday being a holiday but both? Doesn't really make sense to me

As Sunday and Monday are not considered federal holidays, your transactions from Friday at the close of business and throughout the course of the weekend will be listed as Monday's business day. Transactions typically apply to your statement on Tuesday morning.
