Thanks for joining us here at TD Helps, Jean.
Here at TD we offer a 60 Plus Checking account that offers a variety of benefits for our Customers over the age of 60. We invite you to take a look here: http://bit.ly/1yFOmu7. If you decide that this is not the account type for you, we encourage you to view and compare our Checking accounts. You may visit http://bit.ly/Wczmq0 or check out our Checking Selector Tool http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU for help selecting a Checking account that is the best fit for you. You may also wish to view our Savings Accounts here: http://bit.ly/1pJT9I9 and here: http://bit.ly/1hXi2wF for our Savings account Selector tool.
To start your application, you'll need your Social Security number and a valid personal ID such as a Driver's license, State ID, or Passport. You can open your account online by selecting "Open Account" beneath the account of your choosing. If you open your account online, you can make your first deposit using a debit or credit card (Visa or MasterCard), or fund the account with a transfer from another deposit account you may have, using the routing and account numbers. You're also welcome to make your first deposit in person, and please see our Store Locator at http://bit.ly/TDStores to find your closest Store.
If you'd prefer to open your account by phone, or have any questions about our Checking accounts or the opening process, feel free to give us a call 24/7 at 1-888-751-9000 to speak with one of our Customer Service Representatives. They will be more than happy to help you, and if you open the account by phone, your Representative will be happy to provide convenient deposit options for you.
And, you're also welcome to open your new account in person. Please see the link above to search for the convenient TD Bank Store locations near you.
