Thanks for writing in, Sarah! We'll be happy to discuss your cash advance with you.
You'll be glad to know that TD Bank does not assess a fee for cash advances made with your TD Bank Visa Debit Card. So that you're aware, your TD Debit Card has daily limits placed on it. For information on your daily limit amounts, please take a look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ (pages 43-44).
Please keep in mind that if you perform a cash advance at TD Bank, the funds will be provided to you in cash, and you may deposit them to your TD Bank account if you wish. Please note that a cash advance does not allow funds to be transferred. If it's your intention to have the funds available in your account at another bank, we'd like to recommend that you perform the cash advance with your other financial institution so that you may immediately deposit the funds there.
Otherwise, you'll be able to use the External Transfers feature available via TD Bank Online Banking to transfer the funds to another banking institution. You’re welcome to check out http://bit.ly/1jXKYqq for more information about this service.
To use this feature, after logging onto your account here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq, please choose the "Transfers" tab. Then click on "Transfer to Accounts Outside TD Bank." You will then be asked to accept a user agreement and review the fee schedule. After the enrollment is completed, you may continue to schedule a transfer by adding your account at a different institution. In some cases, a trial deposit is initiated at the receiving institution for verification purposes. Please note, fees may apply for External Transfer service. For the Transfers Terms and Conditions please see: http://bit.ly/1lkiC6K, and for more information on the fee schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. For any assistance you may need with our Transfer service, give one of our Tech Support Specialists a call 24/7 at 800-493-7562.
Otherwise, feel free to stop in at any of our TD Bank Stores found here: http://bit.ly/TDStores or give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 for assistance from one of our Banking Specialists.
We hope the information provided here helps, Sarah! Let us know about any questions and take care.
