I would like to get a debit card but need to first find out any and all costs for it. I'm just beginning to use the bank and need to learn the most efficient, inexpensive way to store my income.

Good evening, Amy and welcome to TD Helps! We're so glad to hear that you're considering an account with us, and we're happy you stopped by for more information.
Here at TD Bank, we offer many different types of accounts for your needs. To open an account, there is no certain amount that you'll need to deposit at the time it is opened. Please note that some accounts do require a daily minimum balance to avoid a monthly maintenance fee, which is usually required no later than 30 days after account opening. And you'll be happy to know, TD Bank does not assess a fee for purchases made with a TD Bank Visa Debit card. If you open a checking account with us, the card is also issued to you, free of charge.
We encourage you to review our Checking Accounts here: http://bit.ly/1oXjGgF, or use our Checking Account Selector at http://bit.ly/1vW1xnU. And our Savings products are listed here: http://bit.ly/1hzzhPT, or use our Savings Selector Tool at http://bit.ly/1sxY9Rd.
Once you have decided the type of the account you wish to open, you may click here: http://bit.ly/1fN7u4i to take you directly to the account opening application. To begin the application, you'll need your Social Security number and a valid personal identification such as a Driver's license, State ID, or Passport. If you open your new account online, you can make your first deposit by using a debit or credit card (Visa or MasterCard), or via transfer using the routing and account numbers from another bank account you may have.
If you'd prefer to open your account by phone, feel free to give us a call 24/7 at 1-888-751-9000 to speak with one of our dedicated Customer Service Representatives. They will be more than happy to help you establish your account, and provide convenient deposit options at that time. You're also welcome to open your new account in person. Please see http://bit.ly/TDStores to search for the convenient TD Bank Store locations near you.
And if you'd like to review them, our current Fee Schedule is listed here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt, and our Deposit Account Agreement is listed here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ.
We hope this is great news for you, Amy! Please reply on TD Helps with your questions, and take care.
