Welcome to TD Helps, Theresa! We'd be happy to help.
Great news, neither TD Bank nor Visa charges any foreign transaction fees when you use your TD Bank Debit card! You'll also be able to use your debit card to make cash withdrawals internationally at any ATM Machine that displays either the VISA or PLUS logo. If you are unable to find a compatible machine, you will also be able to use your Debit Card to obtain a VISA Cash Advance. Please note that non-TD ATM fees still may apply. For more information on the Fee Schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. And, we invite you to review page 45 of our Deposit Account Agreement at http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ for more information about international ATM Card or Visa Debit card transactions and the exchange rate for purchases.
Please note, for your protection, TD Bank continually monitors your debit card activity, and we may decline any irregular TD debit card or ATM transaction that is attempted. We also recommend carrying more than one method of payment while traveling, just in case you encounter any acceptance issues. For more travel tips while overseas, please visit http://bit.ly/1gDrDYu. We hope this helps, Theresa and have a great trip.
