I would like to do an ACH transfer from my bank (different institution) to my landlady's checking account at TD bank. Will she incur any fee by receiving my transfer? Also, does she need to sign up for online banking in order to receive my transfer or will the money automatically transfer into her checking account? Thank you!

Hi Kim, welcome to TD Helps!
If you are making an ACH transfer to a Customer of ours, a fee would not be applied. However, if you are sending our Customer a wire, fees may apply. Our personal fee schedule can be found here: https://go.td.com/2lbbfGg.
Online banking would not be necessary for our Customer, if she is receiving an ACH transfer, unless you are using a service such as Send Money. Send Money will require the receiver to create an online banking profile to register and accept the service.
If you are sending our Customer a Send Money transfer, and she needs assistance with receiving this transfer, our Tech Support department may be reached 24/7 at 800-493-7562.
We hope this helps, Kim. Have a great day!
