I am studying abroad in Europe this semester and was wondering about using my debit card abroad? I already called and informed the bank that I would be changing locations, but other students mentioned their cards had fees attached, and I was wondering if that was my case as well.

Thanks for visiting TD Helps with your question, Nicole.
We are happy to say, neither Visa or TD Bank charges any kind of foreign transaction fees and with the TD Debit Card, you can use it anywhere VISA is accepted worldwide. You'll also be able to use your Debit Card to make cash withdrawals internationally at any ATM Machine that displays either the VISA or PLUS logo. If you are unable to find a compatible machine, she would be able to use her Debit Card to obtain a VISA Cash Advance. Please not that non- TD ATM fees still may apply. For more information on the Fee Schedule, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
