Thank you for reaching us on TD Helps, Chelsea. We'd be happy to help provide ways to receive check copies.
If you have written the check that was deposited into your mother's account, then you may request a copy of the check in a few ways.
One way you may request a check image is through Online Banking via secure message. If you are not currently enrolled in Online Banking, you may start the process here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. Keep in mind that you will need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit Card number, Social Security number and email address to complete the enrollment process. If you have any problems enrolling in either service or you would like help retrieving the check images from either platform, please contact us directly 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Our Banking Specialists would be happy to help you.
Once you're logged in to your Online Banking please click on the "Customer Service" tab and then "Send a Secure Message." On the new page, there will be a message field and a drop down menu where you can choose a subject. To make a request for check images, you would need to change the subject to "Request a Transaction Copy." You will then be directed to select and fill out details about the deposit that you're requesting including the date and amount. Please note that there may be fees included for this service. Take a look at our Fee Schedule: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
You may also call us 24/7 by using the number above to request a copy of your check or you may visit a TD Store during lobby hours. For Store hours and locations near you, please visit http://bit.ly/TDStores.
If the check was written to you and deposited into your mother's account, she may request the copy of the check using the same methods listed above.
We hope this helps, Chelsea and have a great day.
