Thanks for your interest in open an account with TD, Janet. We'd be glad to discuss.
We apologize for any inconvenience however a friend or family member is not able to open an account on your behalf of someone else at this time for security reasons.
You are able to open an account online or over the phone. First, we recommend taking a look at the accounts we have to offer. You are able to take a look at checking accounts here: https://go.td.com/2eQORxu and savings accounts here: https://go.td.com/2dIcnAw.
If you're having trouble choosing an account, you are able to use our Checking Selector Tool here: https://go.td.com/KmmHe7 and our Savings Selector here: https://go.td.com/1hXi2wF for a custom recommendation.
Once you're ready to open an account, you are able to do so online by selecting "Open Account" or by calling us 24/7 at 856-751-9000 (215-569-0518 collect using a landline telephone).
Keep in mind that if your husband would like to open an account, if he is a non-US citizen, he would need to visit a TD Store to open an account.
We hope this information helps, Janet. Have a good day.
