I am expecting my paycheck to be direct deposited into my account. I looked on my mobile checking app at 3:30am and it is still not there. When should I expect it?

Great question, Sierra and thanks so much for stopping by today! We'll be happy to chat with you.
If you have funds which are directly deposited to your account, the funds will be available to use no later than 6:00 am on the date of your deposit. If you're anticipating a deposit of your payroll and your paydays are Fridays, for example, you can expect to receive the funds by 6:00 am on Friday of your pay week.
For any questions you may have, feel free to give us a call! We're available 24/7 for you and we can be reached at 888-751-9000. Or you can stop in at any of our convenient Store locations found here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. We also recommend getting in touch with your depositor, if your deposit does not arrive on the date you expect.
Hope this helps a bit, Sierra! Thanks again for writing in and have a great afternoon.

What if my payday is normally Friday, but my direct deposit is sent to the bank on Thursday at 3:00 AM? Shouldn't my funds be available on Thursday morning instead of Friday? Please advise, thank you!

Thank you very much for joining us on TD Helps, Vanessa. We're glad to go over funds availability with you.
Generally speaking, for direct deposits, funds are available to you on the date designated by your depositor. These types of deposits are processed overnight at varying times and the funds will be available for use to make transactions, such as for ATM withdrawals or debit card purchases, once processing is complete. We invite you to look at our Personal Deposit Account Agreement here: http://bit.ly/1kb17UQ. On pages 38-41 you can find our Funds Availability Policy along with information about when you'll have access to deposits.
If you've just started your direct deposit with your employer and haven't received a deposit yet, please keep in mind that direct deposits generally take 1-2 payment cycles to begin. Usually, employers will test the account first with a $0 (zero) dollar deposit to make sure all your account information is correct.
If you have any additional questions or concerns, please feel free to contact us 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop by any of the TD Store locations in your area. To find the TD Store locations near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
We hope this helps answer your question, Vanessa. Have a wonderful weekend!

Thanks for joining in on the conversation today, Vex.
We sincerely apologize for any confusion, and we'll be happy to help.
As our friends have stated above, TD Bank will post any ACH Deposit, or Direct Deposits, at the time and date designated by your employer, and they will typically be credited to your account no later than 6:00am if we receive the credit from your employer before that time. If you are not receiving your Direct Deposit at the time you believe it should be credited, we recommend contacting your employer for further assistance with your concerns. We apologize again for any confusion and inconvenience.
Additionally, we notice that you're writing into us from London, and we'd like to take a moment to explain that you have reached TD Bank in the United States. If you are contacting us from London, ON, and are looking to connect with TD Canada Trust in regard to your concerns, we'd also like to recommend that you contact them directly for assistance with your account.
We have provided a link here https://go.td.com/1woOVay with all the options that you have when wanting to contact TD Canada Trust. In addition, you may also send your question again through TD Canada Trusts TD Helps by following the link provided here: https://go.td.com/1Ymzfmu.
A Live Customer Service Specialist may also be reached by dialing 1-866-222-3456. Specialists are available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, and will be more than happy to further assist you with any questions you may have.
We hope this clears up any confusion, Vex. Enjoy your weekend.
