I deposited a check on the atm on Saturday and there was a hold on the entire amount the whole weekend. The deposit did not register till Monday and still pending clearing. Why are the atm deposit and holds on different days... This caused me to have no access to the entire check amount.

Good to see you today on TD Helps, Ben. We're sorry for any confusion regarding how our ATM deposits work but we'd be happy to clear it up for you.
Typically, check deposits made through the ATM over the weekend are considered for the business date of Monday and post to your account and become available on Tuesday. Please note that for any week in which Monday is a Federal holiday, weekend deposits are considered for Tuesday's banking day and will post on Wednesday. The first $100.00 of your daily ATM deposits will be made available immediately as long as your account has been opened 90 days or greater. If you should have any additional questions, feel free to give us a shout 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or visit us at any TD Bank location during lobby hours. Click here: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank near you.
We hope this information is useful to you, Ben and have a good week!
