I am planning a vacation to Cairo, Egypt & I have a debit card. Do they work at ATMs in Cairo & are there specific ones I should use/locations?

Thanks for joining us on TD Helps today, Suzette. A vacation to Egypt sounds wonderful and it'll be our pleasure to provide you with information to make your trip as smooth as possible. While TD Bank does not have any ATM locations in Egypt, you are welcome to use any ATM worldwide where VISA and NYCE are accepted. We encourage you to check out our current fee schedule here: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt, as it outlines any applicable fees that may come into play when you use your debit card out of the country. We also suggest you give us a call before your trip to place a Travel Notification on your account. To protect your account from fraud, TD Bank could decline any irregular debit, credit or ATM card transactions that are attempted if we are not notified ahead of time that you're traveling. To place a travel notes please give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or you may visit a TD location, during lobby hours. For Store hours please check out: http://bit.ly/TDStores. You may also send us a secure message on www.tdbank.com and request the Travel Notification to be added. To send a secured message, you must first log on to your TD Bank online profile. Once you're logged in, please click on the "Customer Service" tab, and then select "Send a Message" In your message please include where you're traveling as well as the dates. If you're not currently enrolled for Online Banking, you can do so for free by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY. You'll need your account number, Social Security number and your ATM/debit card number. As soon as the application has been completed, you'll immediately be able to access your account to send the message. If you need to call us while you're outside the United States you may do so by dialing 856-751-9000 or collect with operator's assistance from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 215-569-0518. Hope this information is helpful to you, Suzette. Have a fun and safe trip!
