We receive a monthly bill for our auto loan payment. We pay the $233.23 monthly payment. Our dealership told us we could pay ahead. When we pay $433.23 in a check and state on the stub and check that the extra $200.00 is to go onto reducing the principal it does not happen. You put the "extra" $200.00 towards another months payment. This is not what we want. We wish to reduce the principal each month.

Additionally, if you are enrolled for Online Banking, you may send a Secure Message using www.tdbank.com. To send a Secure Message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile.
