Is it possible to set up automatic withdrawals from my checking account into another person's checking account (not TD Banks) for the same time each month? It's for a rent payment, so the amount would be the same and the time each month would be the same.

There are two options available to set up a recurring automatic payment from your TD Checking account to someone else's account and we'd be happy to help go over these options with you.
Your first option is to utilize our Person-to-Person Payment feature via your TD Online Banking at www.tdbank.com. This feature allows for transfers between TD Bank accounts and it also allows you to send money domestically to any account inside and outside TD Bank without having to visit a Store. Also, you will be able to send money via text, email or by creating a contact and even set it up as a recurrent transfer. To use this feature, you will need to be logged in to Online Banking from the main website here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. If you're not yet enrolled, please find our enrollment self-service link at: http://bit.ly/1lU2qfY to sign up. You'll need your account number, ATM/Visa Debit card number, your Social Security number and email address. Once there, you will need to choose Personal from the drop down box and complete three steps. After those 3 steps are completed, you will have immediate access to your account(s) online. Once you have logged into your Online Banking, select the “Person-to-Person” tab to enroll for this specific feature (The “Person-to-Person” tab should show at the top of your page after logging into your TD Bank Online Banking. As long as you have a US address on file, you should be able to send funds using this option to another US account). You will then be asked to accept a user agreement, review the fee schedule and confirm your email and phone number. A text and email code will be sent to the mobile number and the email address we have on file for you. Next, we will request you to submit both codes for verification to complete the enrollment process. Once the enrollment is complete, you’ll be ready to send the payment which the other person will receive in one business day or three business days as per your selection.
Once you have enrolled for TD Person-to-Person Payment, to add a contact, please see below for assistance:
-Get to the Add New Contact screen from the Overview tab. Click "Contacts" blue hyperlink in the upper right corner of the screen.
-Click "Add a Contact" box towards the right side of the screen.
-Enter First Name and Last Name in the fields provided.
- Please select between "Email or Mobile" or "Bank Account." Enter the information in the fields provided. Then click Save. Please note, when selecting "Bank Account" you will be asked to provide the account number and routing number of the individual receiving the funds.
After adding the contact, please follow the steps below to Schedule a Payment:
-Navigate to the Send Money tab.
-Select a contact name from the "To" field or "Add a New Contact" link.
-Enter the Amount, either a "Fixed" amount or an Open amount.
-If you wish for the payment to be recurring, please be sure to select the "Make this a recurring payment" box located below the "Amount" field.
-Please select a Start Date along with the Frequency and Duration of this payment than choose a delivery date.
-Select the Account to Deposit To.
- If you wish, you may add a note to your payment.
-Once you are finish, please click "Continue"
-Please review the payment information then select "Send Payment"
Please keep in mind, tis feature does come with limits on the amount you can send or receive. For the information on the payment methods and amounts, please check out this link: http://bit.ly/1pADlWD (Pg 3. section1.16). To locate your current individual limits, you may select the "View Limits" hyperlink that will appear next to the "Amount" field after you select a contact.
If the amount you would like to send exceeds your transfer limit, you also have the option of setting up a recurring Bill Payment. With Bill Pay, you are able to make recurring payments based on a frequency that you choose. These payments are either mailed via physical check or debited via ACH and credited to your payee. For a more detailed overview, please visit http://bit.ly/1nAVkiK. To sign up for TD Bill Pay, please select the "Bill Pay" tab. You will then be asked to accept the Bill Pay user agreement. Once accepted, you can then immediately begin scheduling your bills!
To add a contact to your Bill Pay, please see below:
-Select "Add a company or person to pay" link located in the "Pay Bill" box at the "Payment Center" tab.
-Type in the person's name then select the "Person" option.
-Fill in the necessary fields then "Add Bill."
To schedule recurring payments using Bill Pay, please follow the steps below after logging on to your account:
- Click on the “Bill Pay” tab located at the top of your screen.
- Click on the “Manage Your Bills” tab.
- Select the appropriate biller from the “Biller Name” list.
- Select the option “Add an automatic payment” from the “What would you like to do?” list.
- Fill out all of the required information and then click on the “Set Up Payment” Button.
