Good afternoon, Ji!
You have a great question, and we'll be more than happy to help!
As it sounds as though you may be interested in opening an account in the United States and Canada, please know that you're currently speaking with TD Bank, located in the United States. At this time, we'll be happy to provide you with all the information you may need to open an account in the United State with TD Bank, and also assist you with connecting with our partner up north in Canada, TD Canada Trust.
We'd first like to take a moment to go over the different accounts being offered by TD Bank. We have something to fit everyone's needs! If you're interested in a Checking account, this link here: https://go.td.com/2eQORxu will provide you with more information. You can also check out this link: https://go.td.com/2bSlkVn for information on our Savings accounts. If you're having trouble deciding, don’t worry, we have a Selector Tool here: https://go.td.com/2sx4N2E.
When you're ready to open your account in the United States, we'd like to invite you to visit your nearest TD Store location to do so! Customer Service Representatives will be happy to help during lobby hours, and we invite you to use the link here http://go.td.com/1f9DSJR to find your closest Store location, as well as their lobby hours and contact information.
Before your visit, it's important to note that as a non U.S. Resident and Citizen, you will need to bring two forms of I.D. with you. One form must be a non U.S. Passport, and the other you may select from the list below:
- Employment ID with Photo and Signature
- State Issued ID or Driver's License with Signature
- Foreign Driver's License with Photo
- US Employment Authorization card with Photo, Signature and Expiration Date
- College ID with Photo
- Alien Registration Card with Photo
- Permanent Resident Card with Photo
If you have any questions before your visit, you're welcome to connect with the Store location of your choosing, or you may also call 1-888-751-9000 to speak with a Customer Service Representative, 24/7.
If you're interested in opening an account with TD Canada Trust, we'd like to recommend that you call 1-866-222-3456 to speak with a TD Canada Trust Banking Specialist, also 24/7, or you may also take a look at this link: https://go.td.com/1woOVay to review all of TD Canada Trust's different methods of contact.
We look forward to having you as part of our TD family, Ji!
Thanks again for stopping by, and have an amazing weekend!
