I would like to change the beneficiary on our IRA accounts, but the designee lives overseas and has no SSN#. Any advice? Thanks, Susannah

Thanks for connecting with us here on TD Helps Susannah. We understand the importance of having all of your affairs in order well in advance and we are happy to help provide some information.
It is hassle free to add a beneficiary to your accounts as no form is required by you and no signature is required from the beneficiary. To add one or more than one beneficiary, just visit a TD Bank Store during lobby hours. Please make sure you have the information of the individual(s) you are adding as the beneficiary. Information such as their name, address and date of birth. You can find the closest location to you by visiting https://go.td.com/1nq31dc. Please note, to confirm your request, a new signature card must be signed by all account owners.
We hope the information given helps Susannah. Have a great day and please let us know if you have any further questions.
