Great question, John and thanks for looking to TD Helps for your answer. We are happy to assist you!
Even though, TD Bank's Bill Pay allows you to pay almost all your bills online, some exceptions may apply. Please keep in mind that payments to government entities (such as tax payments) and court ordered payments may be scheduled through the Bill Payment Service; however such payments are discouraged and must be scheduled at your own risk. For more information about our online bill pay, please refer to our online banking User's Guide and Agreement (information can be found under Section (i), item 11). After you log on to your account from here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq, please click on Customer Service tab then User's Guide & Agreement. If you are a TD Bank BusinessDirect user, please direct your browser to http://bit.ly/1rvBmq8.
We also like to invite you to take a look at our Bill Pay FAQs by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1gWIrp7. If you still wish to pay your tax bills via our online bill pay service, you'll need to obtain the full address of your payee directly from IRS.
If you have any questions, please call us at 1-800-493-7562 and we'll be happy to help. If you’d like to sit down and discuss this further with us, you may feel free to visit your local TD Bank store. To find out TD store locations near you, please visit, http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Have a wonderful day and thank you for choosing TD Bank!
