I reside in the US. I want to make bill payments in Canada. Can I pay my Canadian bills from my US TD account?

Good question, Chris and thanks for getting in touch with us! We're happy to chat with you about this today.
First, we'd like to let you know that our online services, including Bill Pay and Person-to-Person Payments, won't allow for payments made outside the U.S. Typically, direct payments using the routing and account numbers (ACH payments) are also unavailable as a cross-border option, as the Automated Clearing House (ACH) is an network used for electronic transactions in the U.S. only.
With that being said, you may wish to contact any companies that you need to pay in Canada to determine if you can pay them using your U.S. TD Bank Visa Debit or Credit card, if you have either of these types of cards with us.
Another option you may want to consider is to establish an account with our sister Bank, TD Canada Trust. This can be done if you`re able to visit them at any of their branches.
When you have accounts with both of our Banks, you'll be able to transfer funds between your accounts free of charge, and you can then make your payments to Canadian companies via your Canadian account. And as a Customer of both Banks, you'll be able to take advantage of all of our convenient Cross Border Banking options. For more information, please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1ienPN4. If you wish to, please feel free to speak with a Specialist from our TD Cross Border Banking Support Line 24/7 at 877-700-2913, who can answer any questions you have. If you already have accounts with both banks, you may contact them right away for help with a funds transfer.
Hope this answers your question, Chris and please let us know what else we can do to help!
