Can I purchase a foreign draft using a TD Bank savings account? Or do I need to purchase a foreign draft using a TD Bank checking account? Can the foreign drafts be requested electronically or over the phone, since I don't live near a branch? Thank you.

That's a great question, Danny and we're happy to provide you with more information.
Foreign Currency Drafts are good for Customers who want to pay for goods and services purchased outside of the U.S., send a gift to someone outside of the U.S. or pay for their foreign subscription.
Here at TD Bank, we do offer Foreign Currency Drafts to our Customers. International drafts can only be sold to TD Bank account holders via a debit to a TD Bank Checking or Savings account. In order to purchase the draft you must visit a TD Bank Store during lobby hours. For locations and hours take a look here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
Thanks for the question, NAME. Let us know if there's anything else we can do for you.
