Good morning. I am working with a customer that banks with you and they are buying a house in Alabama and need to get a wire or access to $2,500. How do they go about doing that? They called yesterday and were told they couldn't wire money unless they were at the branch?

Thank you for sending us your question today, Brad. We are happy to point you in the right direction.
In order for your customer to initiate a domestic or international wire transfer from their account, they will need to visit a TD Bank Store. For hours and locations near you please take a look at: http://bit.ly/TDStores. They would need to be an account holder.
To send a domestic wire they will need the name, address and ABA routing number of the receiving bank, the name of the account to be credited, the beneficiary address and the account number.
To send an international wire all you need is:
· The full name, address, including city, state/province, country and account number of the person/business (for Euro Zone countries – IBAN – International Banking Account Number) you are sending money to
· The full name and address, including city, state/province and country of the financial institution receiving the funds
· The amount and currency of the transfer
Keep in mind that depending on the currency you are sending, some transactions may take longer than others. You may want to contact the other financial institution to determine what information they require to receive the wire. Please see the link listed below for all applicable fees that may apply.
Keep in mind that transfer fees may apply, for our fee schedule follow this link: http://bit.ly/1cTejgt. We would also recommend checking with the other financial institution to ensure no other additional information is required as well as to obtain information regarding any additional fees for their services. And please note that we do not process or disburse funds from wire transfers received designated Pay Upon Proper Identification (PUPID) and return them to the sender.
We hope this information is helpful Brad. Have a nice day!
