Thanks for letting us assist you here on TD Helps today, JoAnne! We're more than happy to help.
From your description, it sounds as though you've scheduled the payments via TD Bank Bill Pay. If this is the case and the payments were sent via draft check, you'll be pleased to know that your bill payments sent in check form will not be deducted from your available balance until the check is presented to your account for payment.
This means that if the company has given the check back to you, no account credit or stop payment for the check should be needed. Please keep in mind; we do not have access to your personal information at this time since this is considered an unsecured forum. We do recommend verifying this information with one of our knowledgeable Digital Banking Specialists at 800-493-7562, available 24/7.
Once this is confirmed, we recommend shredding the check, or maintaining it in a safe location for your records if you prefer. You're also welcome to visit any nearby TD Bank Store if you'd like us to securely dispose of the check for you, and please see http://bit.ly/TDStores to find your nearest location.
We hope this is the info you were looking for, JoAnne! Please stop by again and have a great one.
