Good afternoon, Angela, and thanks for connecting with us today!
We're happy to announce that neither TD Bank nor VISA charges any foreign transaction fees when you use your TD Bank Debit Card internationally! You'll be able to use your Debit Card to make cash withdrawals at any international ATM machine that displays either the VISA or PLUS logo, as well as perform transactions with merchants by simply presenting your Debit Card during your purchase.
Should you need to perform a withdrawal at a foreign ATM, it's important to note that non-TD ATM fees still may apply. For more information on the Fee Schedule, please take a look here: https://go.td.com/2lbbfGg.
It's also important to note that TD Bank continually monitors your debit card activity, and we may decline any irregular transactions that are attempted. As you are intending to travel, we encourage you to give a Representative a call at 888-751-9000, 24/7, so that we may note this on your account for you, if you have not done so already. You'll want to provide us with the dates as well as any other locations you'll be visiting when you call, so that your card will continue working as expected.
We also have an international number, which you're welcome to use should you need to contact us while traveling. Specialists can be reached at either the number above, or by calling collect, with operator assistance, from a land line phone by asking the operator to dial 1-215-569-0518.
We sincerely hope this helps, Angela! Please let us know if we can answer any additional questions for you, and we hope you have a great day.
