We are Canadian citizen and just paid cash for a house in Florida and would like to put line of credit on it. Do we qualify and what would the rate be. Can we do this with out going into the Florida branch? We have a account at the Lake Placid branch and is there a contact person who can help us and what is there email address. Thanks in advance for your help. Fred

Welcome to TD Helps Fred, and congratulations on your Florida home!
If you're a Canadian Citizen but currently have a residence within our East Coast U.S. footprint (Maine to Florida), you're more than welcome to apply for a loan or line of credit with TD Bank here in the United States! We invite you to also view more about our Cross Border Banking services here: http://bit.ly/1ienPN4 – they're a great compliment to our loan products!
Please know that certain loan and credit line applications can differ depending on where your Citizenship and residence are, and we are able to use your Social Insurance Number and Canadian credit history for some applications, but may need to use your U.S. credit history for others. Therefore, we welcome you to give one of our Financial Solutions Group Specialists a call 24/7 at 800-937-5020 and we'll be happy to review the guidelines for specific applications with you.
We hope this helps, Fred and take care
