We appreciate the visit today, Gary. We are happy to help provide information regarding your inquiry.
We'd like to take this opportunity to let you know that although we no longer offer certified checks; however, you're more than welcome to obtain an Official Check.
If the Official Check was purchased here at TD bank, you are able to place a stop payment on an Official Check 90 calendar days from the original issue date if it is lost, stolen or destroyed.
To place the stop payment, please visit us at your TD Bank Store and you can find your location and hours here: http://bit.ly/TDStores. You'll need the official check number, the amount, payee and date of issue so that we can find out more for you, which should be available on your receipt. If you do not have your receipt handy, we ask that you visit the TD Store in which you originally purchased your Official Check for assistance.
If you have any other questions, feel free to call us 24/7 at 888-751-9000.0
We hope this helps and please have a good one.
