A US company is going to send me a cheque for a refund but I'm not a US or Canadian citizen although I'll be visiting my son-in-law in the US in a few months. Will I be able to cash the cheque just with my passport?

Thanks for joining us on TD Helps, Karen. We'd be glad to discuss.
If the personal check you have is drawn off of a TD Bank account, you're more than welcome to visit any TD Bank location and we would be able to cash the check for you. We do ask that you bring a valid photo ID (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.). Please see: http://bit.ly/TDStores to find a TD Bank Store location nearby you.
Please note, there may be a fee of $7.00 for each check you'd like to cash if you're not a Customer at this time, please keep in mind that fees are subject to change. However; if the check you have is not drawn off of a TD Bank, please connect with the Financial Institution the check is drawn off of for assistance.
We hope this clears things up, Karen and have a good day.
