Nice of you to come to TD Helps with your question, Gail.
Please understand, although you're unable to add a DBA to a personal account, our complete business product offering is designed to meet your needs and to make your business banking hassle-free. We have products with all the features you need to help you achieve your financial goals.
If you wish to open a business account, each of the account signers must visit a TD Bank Store and be present for the account opening process along with the following documents: a valid photo I.D. (Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc.) and Social Security number. For a non-resident aliens opening a business account, you will need two valid forms of ID and a W-8Ben must be completed during the account opening process. Also, be sure to bring the Tax Identification number for your business. To find out TD Bank Stores near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores.
Prior to visiting a TD Bank Store, we suggest reviewing the types of business accounts that we offer. If you take a look here: http://bit.ly/1lWgAhe, you can see types of business Checking accounts that we have. Our web page can even make a selection based on your needs with the business Checking Selector Tool: http://bit.ly/1lGeYmw. If you have any questions while reviewing these options, a Business Banking Specialist would be happy to assist you over the telephone. You can reach them by dialing 855-278-8988.
Hope this helps and have a fantastic day!
