We do provide the option for TD and Non-TD Customers to order foreign currency at any TD Bank location. We can also exchange foreign currency to US dollars. Please check out http://bit.ly/TDStores to learn more about our locations and lobby hours. Prior to your visit, we recommend you give a call to the location you chose and that you allow two business days to go by before going to pick up the currency ordered.
To receive the latest exchange rates, you may contact the TD Bank Store or give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000. Please note that there may be fees associated with foreign currency conversions and for more information visit http://bit.ly/1cTejgt.
We also recommend placing a Travel Notification on your checking account before you leave for Europe. You can do so by calling us at the number listed above or visiting a local TD Bank Store. If you are enrolled in Online Banking, another option would be to send a Secure Message using www.tdbank.com and request the Travel Notifications be added to your account. To send a Secure Message you must first logon to your TD Bank online profile. You can do so by clicking here: http://bit.ly/1eaISlq. On the left hand side, you should see and option to "Send a secure message" located in the “Message Center.” This will help us be aware if we see foreign transactions on your account.
