I have a pending verification on my Mobile app and I was just wondering if a branch manager or TD bank itself can deny the verification? And how long does it normally take for a verification to go through

Hi Megan! Thanks for coming to TD Helps with your question.
Depending on the type of transaction it is, we may be able to stop it while it's still pending. We're able to place a stop payment on a pending transaction if it is an ACH payment which uses your account and routing number, or if it is a recurring debit card transaction that has previously been paid on your account. If this is a one-time debit card payment or the first in a recurring series, we may not have the ability to stop it.
We'd be glad to take a look at the transaction you'd like to stop to see if we can help. Please give us a call 24/7 at 888-751-9000 or stop in to see us at any of our Stores. To find one near you, please click here: https://go.td.com/1nq31dc.
While we do not charge a fee for debit card stop payment, this is subject to change and there may be a fee associated with placing a stop payment on an ACH or check. We encourage you to check out our Personal Fee Schedule by clicking here: https://go.td.com/2kFZ5mK.
We look forward to hearing from you soon, Megan. Take care.
