I've heard that you are able to get a debit card instantly at any TD Bank and I really just want clarification.

Thanks for choosing to visit us on TD Helps today, Dominique.
In order to open an individual Checking account with TD Bank and receive a TD Visa Debit Card, you must be at least 18 years of age. If an individual is under the age of 18 years of age, we do ask that an adult accompanies you at one of our nearby TD Bank Stores to open a joint Checking account. For help locating a TD Store near you, please visit: http://bit.ly/TDStores. For Checking account information please take a look here: http://bit.ly/1dbAcWh. For a personalized recommendation, you may check here for our Checking Account Selector Tool: http://bit.ly/1DEMFS4.
Please keep in mind that both of parties will need to provide a valid form of identification such as Driver's License, Passport, Military I.D. etc. and Social Security number. As a minor, acceptable forms of identification for minors includes; School ID (preferably with a picture), Passport, US Birth Certificate or Social Security Card. Being that the teen is a minor, if a joint account was opened, a Visa debit card can be issued as long as a verbal consent of an adult was given.
If the individual is a full-time student, a Student Checking account may be an option to consider. To learn more about our Student Checking account, please visit http://bit.ly/S8Vejp.
Feel free to visit us again if you have any other questions and have a nice day.
